Rob Hanna is a master architect of societal innovation, guiding investors, entrepreneurs, and institutions in designing, activating, and operating their highest-impact ambitions as engines of financial performance and value creation for all.
Rob’s 40+ career spans Washington, Wall Street, and Main Street—each phase shaping his rare ability to co-create measurable, accelerated outcomes across sectors.
In Washington, D.C., Rob served as a research assistant to futurist Alvin Toffler’s Alternative Futures Institute and as legislative correspondent to Congressman Bill Lehman. There, he learned how public policy and vision co-determine the futures we bring to life.
On Wall Street, Rob began at Dominick & Dickerman (the oldest NYSE member firm), where he pioneered hedge fund structures and maintained a 99% investor retention rate. He became the firm’s youngest corporate president of a subsidiary since 1870, co-founding U.S. and German subsidiaries. Later, at Chase Manhattan Bank, he served as global wholesaler for their first billion-dollar fund, coining the term Social Wealth—the intentional design of shared value creation.
Rob then left Wall Street for purpose, joining The Rensselaerville Institute to bring public innovation to philanthropy and government. There, he co-created 16 statewide public-private partnerships that completed 600+ rural infrastructure projects with average cost savings of 55% and delivery times reduced from seven years to 18 months. He also led the creation of outcome information systems for governments, including the nation’s largest homeless continuum of care (Los Angeles and Orange County).
As founder of Social Wealth Partners, Rob worked with the University of Texas at Austin and Dell to launch and scale the Dell Social Innovation Challenge—mobilizing over 6,000 student ventures across 100 countries in just 18 months. Today, Rob focuses on being of service to investors, governments, and philanthropies compress the time to results and improve the quality and scale of their impact portfolios.
Rob holds a degree from the University of Florida and a postgraduate certificate from NYU. He lives between Austin, Texas, and Miami Beach, Florida, with his wife and two children, and remains endlessly curious about how others pursue their purpose in service to a better world.
